Zusammenfassung

Die Knochen-Knorpel-Transplantation unter Verwendung der Hohlfräsen des Osteochondral-Autograft-Transfer-System (OATS) hat sich bei umschriebenen aseptischen Osteonekrosen am Knie- und Sprunggelenk bewährt. Wir beschreiben erstmals den Einsatz des OATS in der Behandlung einer partiellen Osteonekrose eines Mittelhandknochenkopfes; die Technik und der erfolgreiche Behandlungsverlauf werden dargestellt.

Abstract

The OATS (osteochondral autograft transfer system) is a standardized technique for the treatment of aseptic osteonecrosis of the knee and ankle. We show the first use and successful course of the OAT System for the treatment of a partial aseptic necrosis of a metacarpal head.
